Speed checks within XB25/77 with PC Tyler 30278 and the Police Cadets : Sun 25 Jan 13:00

Dear Resident

As residents, many of you have raised concerns with me at my Police surgeries regarding speeding vehicles in your area, so I will be out and about on Sunday 25th February 2026 with PC Tyler and a group of Police cadets.

We will be equipped with Speed Guns and will be issuing Traffic Offence Reports (TOR) to anyone going over the speed limit and endangering members of the public. 

The penalty for speeding is £100 fine and 3 points on your licence. 

The penalty for using your mobile phone is £200 fine and 6 points. 

We will also be on the look out for any illegal bikes which are out and about and if we catch them, we will seize and destroy the bikes.
